As part of the coaching team at Leicester City FC, I work within the club’s elite talent identification and development structure at both the Pre-Academy and the Nottingham Assessment Centre. My role focuses on identifying, nurturing, and developing young footballers aged 5–8, preparing them for transition into the Academy pathway. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, age-appropriate coaching sessions in line with the club’s technical and playing philosophy. Support the holistic development of young players, emphasizing technical skill, game understanding, and character development. Collaborate with fellow coaches, scouts, and recruitment staff to assess talent potential and progression readiness. Create a positive, inclusive, and challenging environment that encourages long-term development over short-term performance. Key Achievements: Contributed to the successful progression of multiple players from Pre-Academy to Academy squads. Helped enhance regional player access through the development and growth of the Nottingham Assessment Centre. Maintained consistent alignment with the club’s coaching framework and safeguarding practices.
