Role covers all elements of opportunities inclusive of commercial aspects and ownership for engagement with partners and government entities. Member of Qatar Commercial team.
Responsible for front end development of brownfield projects at Pearl GTL; responsible for coordination of technical assurance and discovery scope during Pearl GTL's first Major Turnaround.
Resident engineer (designate) at Contractor offices for FEED phase; Lead process design for Heavy Paraffins Synthesis unit and substantial number of auxiliary units; Lead process design for Flare, Relief and Blowdown systems; Engineering lead for development of Environmental Permit applications, with emphasis on technical assurance of Air Permit commitments across all Engineering disciplines;
Design integration & front end project development (design interface management); Member of process design integration team (e.g. responsible for overall heat/material balances); Development of Basis for Design for core Heavy Paraffins Synthesis unit; Lead concept development for Flare, Relief, Blowdown systems; Engineering lead for development of Environmental Permit applications (emphasis on Air Permit) and member of multidisciplinary team predominantly located in Houston, TX; Technical lead for development of Greenhouse Gas / Energy Management Plan; Process Engineering focal point for Technical Safety; Provision of technical assurance/oversight at Engineering contractor.
