Martijn is an investor at EMK Capital, where he is part of the pan-European investment team, focused on supporting entrepreneurs, founders and management of mid-market companies to achieve transformational growth. Before EMK, Martijn worked at Bain & Company where he was part of the Private Equity Group, focusing on commercial and operational due diligences, and value creation plans. Before joining Bain, Martijn worked at a global strategy boutique (CVA) in the London office. Martijn holds a MSc. in Strategic Management from HEC Paris in France (Highest Honours) and MSc. in Commercial Engineering from KU Leuven in Belgium (Distinction). During his studies, he interned at KBC Bank (strategy & innovation), Deloitte (M&A) and B-Hive/Scale-Ups.eu (business development).
