Only a few weeks ago, I finished an NMI (Nederlands Mediation Instituut) recognized education with good result. One step on my way to become a mediator. A mediator provides an alternative means to solving disputes. Where the law is a practical framework because it indicates its possibilities and limitations, the outcome is therefore rather predictable but not necessarily preferable. Mediation offers an opportunity to look for solutions that you might have never even considered, simply because you never knew it existed. It calls on your creativity and desire to work out a result that is as close to your personal and/or professional needs as can possibly be. If you own your solution after owning your problem, it is sustainable for the future. If it is your result and not the judge's order, then you can be proud, and pride carries a long way. I will inform you when I am ready to receive my first clients. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I will be happy to provide some answers (ADR/Mediation-related of course). I am very much looking forward to receiving your input. Kind regards, Martijn ter Balkt
I am working here on a project basis, but you never know what the future might bring. I am running a project with one other colleague. Some of the products within a certain time frame turn out to be possibly affected by a very specific issue. As the company produces medical products, the issue might be of life and death. Even the remotest chance that a product might be affected must be investigated and possibly the product must be returned. It is my job to make the decision while I am on the phone. Is the product is affected and how can we arrange the solution? On a communication level it is more about re-assuring the customer, as only very, very few products are affected.
In my current position i am servicing Vodafone Customers with various questions about their Vodafone products. In my role, I find great pleasure in meeting and exceeding the needs of my customers the best way possible, without loosing focus of the company's objectives in terms of sales and targets. Since I have a multilingual background in translation (English, German, Dutch) I am looking to exploit these qualities in a new work environment. I have extended communicational knowledge about how to approach the customer in different levels and entities and I learned a great deal about how to avoid easily made mistakes that, once made, are not too easy to repair. So if you would be looking for a multilingual customer service talent, then please give me ring or drop an email in my emailsbox as indicated. I hope to hear from you soon. Kind regards, Martijn
