Primary PT for inpatient rehab team in CARF-accredited/Stroke Center rehab hospital with varied neurological & orthopedic caseload. Managerial duties for staffing & daily management of PT team of up to 30 therapists (FT and PD), as well as annual reviews, inservicing, education and mentoring of PT staff.
Staff therapist for Luther Hospital, Neuroscience/Trauma/Pediatrics unit, with flexing to CCU and MedSurg floors. Acute care and outpatient experience with a variety of neurological & orthopedic diagnoses. Served as therapy volunteer coordinator x 3 years. Involved in hospital-wide safety committees, developed & taught Adaptive Yoga class as well as employee yoga & wellness classes. Involved with planning, coordination & teaching at Aphasia Camp 2004-2008.
