A little bit about me: 🎓I hold a bachelor's degree in International Trade/Business and currently I am pursuing a masters degree in Data Science. 📊 I have more than 5 years of experience in finances, administration, project coordination and data. ✍🏽I am not afraid to dive into new areas, as I have been doing for the last couple of years. For example, after living abroad for a while, I decided to write about my experience, and provide a guide to people who find it useful. While I was working on content creation across different platforms, such as WordPress, I noticed that learning Web Development tools would help me to customize my options there. So I did. I learned HTML and CSS and a bit of JavaScript and created my own web page. 🤓 I ended up doing a course, Argentina Programa, that helped me to understand the "behind the scene" with JAVA and implementation with SpringBoot (which make my life much easier). Also, during that time, I used MySql and learned more about database normalization. Later on I discover views, triggers, functions (and transactions). 🔙 I tried coding on Python and was a one way road. Until now, everytime I need to think in a complex solution, Python and their libraries are the main answer. 🔛 I have experience creating, mantaining. and orchestrating ETL pipelines. I am most confortable working with Azure (DataFactory, SQL server and Synapse analytics), but I am certified as AWS cloud practitioner, so happy explore more cloud vendors. Also, I finished an intensive Data Science bootcamp, with more than 800 hours of coding and a few projects using data engineer, data analysis and machine learning models. 💻 You can check-them out on my repository: https://github.com/Martu-t 💬 If you feel there is a project aligned with my profile, let's talk! 📥 DM me

The project goal was create an effective seismic system alert, giving the society access to valuable information and relatable words. Our team worked together during almost 4 weeks guided by our scrum master to achieve weekly sprints. We created a complete architecture (including ETL and database on cloud), with a final product being a twitter bot and and a Web App. We used mainly python and their libraries (Pandas, scikit-learn, SQLAlchemy, etc), PosgreSQL as database, a VM to connect everything and PowerBI to analyse data.
During 3 weeks, I created one project per week: 1) Data Engineer: Pipeline to extract different data-sources, transform and load into a relational database. Main tech: Python and MySQL 2) Datathon ML: Identify features that could affect the property prices in Colombia. Try with different models to predict if a new property would be expensive or cheap. Main tech: Python (Pandas, Numpy and Scikit-learn) 3) Data Analysis: With an 'aircraft accident dataset', I made an analysis regarding crossing data with comercial accidents and how that could affect a brand, focus the 2 main ones (Airbus and Boeing). Main Tech: Python, PowerBI and MySQL
