Managing the team responsible for production planning and short term power trading at Norway’s second biggest power producer, Hafslund Eco Vannkraft
Working in the interception of people, processes, systems and data to ensure all four components are harmonized towards reaching strategic goals. Reporting to the Director of IT&Development. Particular focus on power market operations and trading.
Heading the digital departement of 8 skilled developers, data science and battery science professionals at Evyon and a member of the top tier leadership team. Evyon work to give EV-batteries a second life in modular solutions. The digital team collect and use data from battery modules to create stand alone digital products.
- Managing the start-up of a new product offering in Cognite (Power Market Operations). - Work to align UX, Tech and Business (Go-To-Market) to continuously assess the product vision and product-market fit. - Owner of the product roadmap. - Create and own the business case (value add) from the product investment alongside the Go-To-Market team. - Understand and represent user needs. - Monitor the market and developing competitive analyses. - Define a vision for the product and continuously re-assess. - Align internal and external stakeholders around the vision for the product. - Prioritise product features and capabilities for development. - Create a shared mission across larger teams to empower independent decision-making.
- Overall responsibility for the product strategy and roadmap of the Trading & Settlements area within Powel Smart Energy, continuously working to adapt to market needs and new technology. - Responsible for the profit and loss (PnL), pricing and success of applications as well as the investment budget belonging to the Trading & Settlements area of Powel Smart Energy. - Owner of the business case process for new projects or updates to existing products. Acting as a link between the Sales and Development teams. - Face to market for the Trading & Settlements area, representing Powel in external forums, media and events. - Product expert with detailed knowledge of existing and planned Powel applications within the Trading & Settlements area. - Coordinate with the wider team of Solution Managers in other areas of Powel Smart Energy to create a unified and coordinated product portfolio and strategy.
