Mars Cheng (@marscheng_) is the Head of Cyber Threat & Product Defense Center at TXOne Networks Inc., responsible for leading the three subgroups within the center: PSIRT, Advanced Threat Research Group, and Threat Operation Group. He also serves as the Executive Director of the Association of Hackers in Taiwan (HIT/HITCON), a Review Board Member for both the HITCON Conference and Training and FIRSTCON26, the General Coordinator of the HITCON CISO Summit 2026, and a Cybersecurity Auditor for the Taiwan Government. In these roles, he plays a pivotal part in fostering collaboration between industry and government to strengthen national cybersecurity resilience. Mars specializes in IoT, ICS/SCADA/CPS systems, malware analysis, AI/ML, threat intelligence and hunting, blue team, and enterprise security. A seasoned speaker, Mars has delivered over 60 presentations at international cybersecurity conferences, including Black Hat USA, Europe, and MEA, RSA Conference, DEF CON, CODE BLUE, FIRST, HITB, HITCON, Troopers, NOHAT, SecTor, S4, SINCON, and ROOTCON, among others. He is also an experienced cybersecurity instructor, having delivered over 35 training sessions at events such as Global Cybersecurity Camp (GCC) 2026, 2024, HITCON Training (2025, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019), NICS Elite Practical Training Taiwan (2025–2022), and for various ministries in Taiwan, including National Defense, Economic Affairs, Education, and Finance, as well as for publicly listed companies. At the same time, Mars is the cybersecurity auditor for the National Information and Communication Security Taskforce in the Executive Yuan (Taiwan Cabinet) and the Ministry of Economic Affairs. He has successfully organized several notable HITCON events, including the HITCON CISO Summit in 2025, 2024, and 2023; HITCON PEACE 2022; and HITCON 2021 and 2020.

* Led the PSIRT and Threat Research team of 9 threat researchers/RDs, focusing on comprehensive research of emerging security threats. Our team's efforts led to successful publications in top global cybersecurity conferences such as Black Hat USA/MEA, RSA Conference, Troopers, NOHAT, CODE BLUE, HITCON, HITB, ROOTCON, FIRST, SecTor, and others. * Played a significant role in the research and development of TXOne Security Solutions, focusing on threat detection. * Enhanced TXOne's product security by initiating and spearheading the establishment of product security incident response processes. I also coordinated their implementation, which significantly strengthened our product's security. * Presented over 10 significant public speeches at prestigious global cybersecurity conferences including Black Hat USA and MEA, RSA Conference, Troopers, NOHAT, CODE BLUE, HITCON, DEFCON Village, FIRST, ROOTCON, CYBERSEC, among others. * Initiated and managed the 2023 TXOne Global Cybersecurity Internship Program, successfully coordinating the efforts of 5 interns. * Managed a smooth transition of teams from Trend Micro to TXOne Networks, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.* Help to enhance TXOne product security.
