Led regional transportation and air cargo operations across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, with P&L responsibility for a multi-country network and 400+ FTE across multiple sites. Turned around fragmented and underperforming cross-border network, restoring service performance and cost control across the region. Resolved critical compliance exposures and led the recovery of AEO certification by strengthening subcontractor governance and standardizing transport, warehousing, and customs processes. Converted sustainability into commercial advantage by launching UPS’s first HVO100 program and supporting customer growth.
Led transportation and hub operations across Belgium and Luxembourg, with full P&L responsibility for a large multi-site network and 250 FTE in a highly regulated, unionised environment. Turned around one of the lowest-performing operations in the region, restoring service performance, cost control, and positioning the operation among the top performers in Europe. Delivered large-scale organizational restructuring and led complex union negotiations, achieving significant cost savings while preserving workforce stability. Developed and executed a Luxembourg growth strategy by aligning pricing, network design, and commercial resources to strengthen competitiveness and grow market share. Played a key role in maintaining uninterrupted operations at peak volumes during COVID-19, ensuring strict safety and compliance standards with zero incidents. Prepared the organization and operating model for a €130M+ infrastructure expansion, aligning air cargo, customs, and ground operations for future scale.
