As a service-driven Adirondack local, I am pursuing a career in EMS and outdoor safety, with a strong commitment to serving both my community and the wilderness that shaped me. After graduating from North Country School, I continued my education at Northwood School in Lake Placid, New York, where I deepened my passion for leadership and the outdoors. Through foundational Outdoor Leadership courses and my involvement in the Northwood Adventure Sports (NAS) Program, I have developed resilience, fundamental hard skills, and environmental stewardship while exploring world-renowned outdoor environments. These experiences—combined with the strength of the communities I’ve been part of—have inspired me to dedicate my future to protecting natural spaces and providing care and safety to those who explore them.
I worked in the Rental Division at Mountain Man, where I was responsible for renting recreational paddle boats and assisting customers. I developed strong customer service skills by providing clear instructions, ensuring a positive guest experience, and addressing questions or concerns. I gained hands-on experience with boating safety procedures, proper knot-tying techniques, and equipment handling to ensure safety. Additionally, I promoted environmental stewardship by educating guests on responsible water practices and helping maintain sustainable conditions on the Moose River.
