I have a strong drive to succeed and achieve the best I can in whatever I do. I am an ambitious person who uses a strategic approach when determining which opportunities will lead me to advance further in my career and ultimately achieve a sense of self-betterment, improved quality of life and build-up of character, while respecting those around me. My aim is to launch my professional career in a large accounting firm in order to obtain the exposure and experience that comes with them, and to also see first hand how large corporations operate from the inside. I am very much inclined to a professional workplace with high work ethics in relation to pride and value of workmanship, being punctual, being organised and being respectful of fellow colleagues. Some of my strengths are that I enjoy being challenged and pushed beyond my limits, physically and mentally; being given greater responsibilities and more difficult work loads only pushes me to exceed expectations. I also have great attention to detail and have been classed as a perfectionist. Some weaknesses are that it can be difficult for me to work in an unorganised environment which means I must keep my work area always neat and organised. I become disinterested when there is not much work to do, which is why I always like to be challenged and actively engaged in work. Parts of the wider Accounting profession that i've experienced has been bookkeeping, financial accounting and taxation. I have a desire to engage in a direct and involving line of work, working closely with clients to advise them on opportunities for growth and development. This line of work appeals to me as it is involving and every client is different, providing a different challenge requiring a different approach each time. This type of work, particularly in a small team, makes the end goal much more important in my mind, and gives a sense of personal achievement, having made a difference when the task is completed.
