Relationships drive great product delivery. I'm building an AI tool that helps leaders and teams see into their conversations, digest what's happening, and unblock what's stuck. The tool is grounded in psychoanalytic and organisational psychology training. After 12 years of board level leadership, I'm in the second year of an MA in Leadership and Consulting at IPU Berlin, with over 500 hours of group therapy behind me. That foundation shapes how the tool works: helping people notice what's actually happening in their working relationships, not just what's being said in the stand-up. Before this, I spent 20 years in product development, the last decade leading product and design teams at board level. I've directly managed teams of 10 to 25 people embedded in up to 11 Agile teams, in companies from €90m revenues to billions. Three results I keep coming back to: - At Sky, I found that increasing hardware costs by £64k in one part of the experience created savings of around £5 million overall. The obvious metric (increased costs) was wrong. - At Spreadshirt, we discovered that what drove partner take-up was reducing time-to-first-sale, not time-to-display. We brought it from 90+ days down to 48 hours. - At Yell, by observing 50 people in the sales process, we reduced 26 tools to one. That aligned best practice across 700 people and ensured compliance. Each of these started with looking at the situation more carefully than the organisation had managed to on its own. That instinct is the thread running through everything I do now.
