I currently serve as Principal at Mercer in Munich. In this role I advise Pension Funds and other institutional clients in strategic asset allocation, manager selection, risk management with a focus on private markets and responsible investing. Prior to this role I was responsible for strategic and tactical asset allocation, sustainability, manager selection, overlay management and the associated asset management tasks at HVB Pension Fund. As chairman of the Private Markets Committee I was particular responsible for the activities in Private Equity, Private Debt and Infrastructure Investments. In June 2024, I was also appointed to the Executive Board of HVB Privat-Sterbe-Kasse. I am an experienced financial markets expert, with over 25 years’ experience across a wide range of disciplines within banking, asset and pension management.
