      As manager of the Trading Tools team within Software Development it was my main responsibility to provide the front and back office with analysis and simulation tools, most of them used on a daily basis as integral part of the workflow. One of the major achievements during this time was the design and implementation of a service-oriented backend architecture to connect various data sources in a simple and efficient manner, drastically reducing the time to delivery for analysis tools. As team manager it was my responsibility to reorganize the Trading Tools team to balance resource allocation between projects and application maintenance, as part of which I introduced Scrum (an Agile SW development framework) within the team. The Trading Tools team consisted of software developers, QPA engineers and user interface specialists in Amsterdam as well as teams in Chennai, India and Chengdu, China.
