Since 01.07.2025 I have been working full-time as CEO and founder of Quantamit UG. We offer consulting services in the area of Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance and AI Auditing with focus on healthcare, life sciences and pharma. Until 30.06.2025, I was Team Lead Global MDM at SYNLAB International GmbH in the Data & Analytics department of Alexander Knechtges. I led a team of 12 MDM specialists to establish Global MDM as a unified, high-quality source of truth and governance across the organization. For this purpose, I dealt with the development of our "SYNLAB Master Data Portal". My team also took care of the migration and support of master data for the global SAP Hana ERP roll-out. On 30.10.2025 I successfully defended my doctorate at LMU Munich at the Medical Data Integration Center (MeDICLMU) under the direction of Dr. Fady Albashiti. My Ph.D. project in the field of "Auditable AI" revolves around the development of a framework that can be used to evaluate ML algorithms in development or implementation projects and make them more transparent. At the heart of it is an ML Auditing Core Criteria Catalog with 30 questions, which we tested with the help of a medical use case. An extensive reproduction study was also included. My work is intended to contribute to the fact that ML models and predictions can be used more often, more effectively and more safely in the medical field. In terms of international experience, I would like to highlight my work at the media startup "Fair Observer" in Silicon Valley and in the "eMed Lab" of the leading Estonian eHealth expert Prof. Peeter Ross at TalTech (Tallinn). • Leading a team of 12 data specialists. Conceptualize and manage implementation of group-wide standards and CRUD-workflows of master data (MD). Establish global SYNLAB MD Portal as single source of truth of high-quality MD. Develop, improve and automate migration and support processes for the global SAP HANA ERP. • Achievements: Deployed SYNLAB MD Portal with three domains (Facilities, Assets and Fleet). Managed successful SAP HANA ERP MD rollout and governance in four countries. Enabled COVID PCR testing of UEFA UCL and UEL matches with automated MD exchange. Standardized more than 18.000 laboratory services in 14 countries.
• Analyze and transform business needs into SYNLAB master data domains. Focus on medical and operational management to create medical master service catalog utilizing LOINC methodology. Define, visualize and manage data collection, cleansing and governance processes including training for country data managers and external service providers. Develop merging/splitting tool and design mapping tool improvements. Promote new Group-wide cooperation solution Connect.SYNLAB 2.0. • Achievements: Created foundation of SYNLAB common medical testing language and successful Group ERP rollout. Reduced mapping process issue resolving loops. Improved intra-company master data proficiency.
• Design, analysis, deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure and software for small architecture, engineering and healthcare customers. • Achievements: Implemented quality management system of orthopedic professionals, optimized business processes among ten employees, established successful IT environment for seven employees from scratch.
• Trained 16 students in SAP Business Warehouse (ERP 6.0 and Netweaver 7.0). The program was facilitated by Ilmenau University of Technology. • Achievements: All students passed the final data warehousing exam (ETLprocess, architecture, objects and reporting).
• Migrated the content management system into the Microsoft Azure cloud environment. Analysis and setup of social media marketing tools. • Achievements: Established foundation for crowd-based, automated editorial workflow system. Automated sharing of new articles via LinkedIn.
