Operations Manager (manufacturing, procurement, quality) for the division Fabrics & Rolls in Paper Service. Division has an annual sales of approx. 500 MEUR and produces goods respectively does roll covers and roll service at 32 manufacturing locations across the world (Europe, North & South America, Asia). In my former position in operations management in another service division I already gained experience in managing up and downswings (COVID impact), working on operations strategy and global footprint for further growth (key role in CAPEX planning and releasing) Earlier I also gathered experience in global product transfers (e.g. project leader / transferring products from SWE to USA) and restructuring projects. Furthermore in digitalization (project manager / introducing a manufacturing execution system in a pilot plant) and additive manufacturing (coordinated ANDRITZ´ global activities in AM). ANDRITZ PULP & PAPER supplies one of the world’s best technologies and valuable services for paper, board and tissue production and is a business area of the ANDRITZ GROUP (ANDRITZ GROUP has approx. 7 billion EUR annual sales, 28.000 employees all over the world).
After over a decade in global and group functions I hold a concrete local operational position as planning operations manager. In this function I am responsible for the work preparation department in a manufacturing plant that produces essential wear parts for the Pulp & Paper industry (mainly press felts). The plant itself has an annual sales of 70-90 MEUR and approx. 450 employees. In adddition to the planning and scheduling responsibility for the production, the department acts as a knot point between production and customer service / sales.
