The Position Head of Manufacturing Engineering strategically merges, coordinates and harmonizes global activites with regards to all new production line industrialization activites of Zeiss Meditec Devices. Furthermore, the recent company's transformation activities are being supported by defining and rolling out the best-fit global manufacturing engineering set-up and strategy. The daily activities of the manufacturing engineering teams mainly consist of: - global production line engineering for all innovation projects being in industrialization phases - ensuring best production quality in harmonization with sufficient production line yield and KPIs - generic process development for TTM improvement and cost reductions - second level production engineering support for all global production sites - process validation and verification following regulatory requirements - contract manufacturing management - global production line localizations and footprint extensions
