About

Extensive experience as a project manager (over 9 years) and as a development engineer (over 28 years) in medical technology according to ISO 13485, MDR, IVDR, 21 CFR 820 as well as in the aerospace and high-tech industries. As a project manager in the medical technology sector, I have led projects in the fields of in vitro diagnostics (IVD) and sterilization equipment for surgical instruments. In addition, I have developed and industrialized implants for traumatology as well as injection-molded plastic parts for insulin pumps, disposable infusion sets and injectors. As a project manager in the high-tech industry, I have led projects in the fields of precision optics and precision mechanics (e.g. optical telescopes with technologies such as those used in space telescopes, nano-positioning devices, and structures used in EUV photolithography for microchip manufacturing). In the aerospace industry, I have also developed structural components for aircraft. I am used to working in matrix organisations of global companies and knowing their development, quality and production processes.
