Study of rollover of a terrain vehicle

    • Ph. D. student
      Oct 2003 - Nov 2007 · 4 yrs 2 mos

Focus of research lies within developing design guidelines and gaining qualitative/quantitative knowledge for enhanced HVI control of vehicle direction (steering) for ground vehicles (passenger cars and light trucks) assuming by-wire technology and unconventional use of and unconstrained by the current driver-vehicle control interfaces. The impact of varying driver’s driving skill is also investigated. The work is carried out as a part of a collaborative project with General Motors, Saab, the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI) and the Division of Vehicle Dynamics, KTH.
