About

I am a full professor and head of department working at the interface of photonics, fiber optics, and nanotechnology. My research focuses on developing next-generation optical fibers, integrated photonic systems, and 3D nanoprinting for scientific and industrial applications. I am passionate about bridging the gap between fundamental science and real-world solutions—driving innovation in areas such as supercontinuum generation, nanoscale sensing, and 3D nanoprinting. I enjoy mentoring students and young researchers, building an interdisciplinary and international team, and collaborating with partners across academia and industry to push the boundaries of photonic science.
