Naaijkens-ID designs robotics, automation and embedded electronics. I am responsible for the mechanical designs that are needed to support certain projects. This includes making concept designs, detailed 3d models, 2d drawings, ordering materials and assembling the designs. Being involved in the entire design project gives me many insights and learning to impliment in future projects. Some projects I have worked on: - Setup to test foil cameras with infinite loop foil - Frame design for heavy duty shaker tables - Setup to test foil cameras with steady state foil - Several designs for electronics housing I have also worked on custom made VBA script to import suppliers information into an Access database. This Access database is used to created price estimates for projects and has to remain up to date with minimal effort.
Van Osch Uden is a worldwide supplier of pig stall equipment of high quality. They have build up a vast number of products over their 80 years of working. All these products were designed in Inventor and throughout the years a vast number of 3d models was created. To be ready for the future Van Osch Uden wished to migrate to Solidworks and to setup a clear and ordered system for the 3d models. In collaboration with the design team of van Osch Uden we setup a new way of working for customer orders. I have migrated all the Inventor models to SolidWorks and set them up with easy features such as equations, different configurations and VBA scripts to significantly decrease the design time that is needed for a new customer order. Because the setup of the models is different then the engineers are used to, we planned a number of sessions to go through everything. It is important to me that in the future, the engineers can, work with and expand on, these models without my help. To keep all the data in an ordered fashion I wrote a VBA script to help with the creation of a new customer order and the models that are needed. This will ensure that in the future it is easy to find back old orders and related design models.
Working as Root Cause Analyst (RCA) and Reliability Engineer on different projects for sustaining machines. Always busy with 'asking the right questions' to tackle machine issues and improve machine performance. Combining RCA with reliability data from field machine to make data driven decisions and zoom in on issues. Working in teams with competence engineers, supply chain, suppliers, customer service to gather as much knowledge and data in the project and work efficiently and effective.
Responsible for a lithography machine within ASML and supporting D&E specialist with system integration. Both hardware and software experience with ASML machines. Working together with D&E engineers to combine their specialist knowledge with the generalist knowledge of Proto Engineers.
Analyses of interconnect materials in LED chips. Performing SEM-FIB 3d scans and running numerical simulations with Matlab and Marc Mentat.
