Implementation of LEAN –philosophy into tube works and performance related pay-roll system for welding workshop. Co-operation with project sales and sales management. Member of the Management team of tube operations.
Planning and implementation of Ruukki's Special Product investment program (100 m€) in heavy plate mill. Taking part to investment planning and executions, profitability calculations, training of operators and rationalization of work force. Valuable co-operation with Andritz Maerts, Siemens VAI (Sheffield unit), SMS, SteelPlantech, Quintiq, Beck und Kaltheuner, IT -companies etc. The size of the organization was some 300 employees including prefabrication. Implementation of LEAN production methodology and Operational Excellence into production. Member of European Heavy Plate Committee and Steel Institute VDEh. Good connections to several European Plate Producers, their products and production technology. Business Management Program in Pohto 2011.
