-Preparing and presenting design proposals to clients -Producing detailed drawings -Compile project specifications -Attending regular meetings with clients, contractors and other specialists -Coordinate the work of contractors -Control project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design -Dealing with problems that might come up during building
- Take care of materials, work force, plans and tasks to be fulfilled in designated time frame - Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems - Providing documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to tell others about how devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be fabricated, constructed, assembled, modified, maintained, or used - Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish my work - Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person - Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources.
