I am COO of Multilingual Connections, an Evanston-based company that helps you understand, engage and grow your multilingual audience through translation, transcription and multimedia localization in over 75 languages. I make sure that our office is running efficiently and our staff is focusing on the work that drives client success. Prior to working and Multilingual Connections, I spent 20 years in non-profit management overseeing IT, communications and systems analysis. Now I apply that experience to Multilingual Connections, where I work to empower our employees and make sure our resources are directed towards supporting our clients. Responsible for working with Multilingual Connection's leadership team and for developing, implementing, and managing the operational aspects of the annual budget including IT, Marketing and Communications. Cultivates relationships with new and existing partners.
Lead programs and policy development to grow local NGO into national leader in school health and environmental issues. Responsibilities include: * Review policies and develop strategies for national and state regulatory and legislative policy issues. * Build coalitions and advocate for policy at the state and national levels. * Identify stakeholders around common goals to develop resources, materials, and training to advance a common agenda. * Create and execute integrated communications strategy including print, website, social media and organizational branding.
Directed team of programmers and designers to develop and implement Internet marketing solutions.
Designed and implemented media outreach campaigns and advocacy strategies to increase participation and awareness in regional air quality programming.
Supervised 3-member team to implement advocacy and public awareness projects for 56 counties in Eastern Missouri. Responsibilities included establishing performance objectives and standards, representing agency on both state and national advisory boards and developing and implementing clean air advocacy and marketing strategies.
