Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's largest cloud computing provider. During a period of 4-months, I worked as a Software Development Engineer Intern in the Network Performance Team. + Built a data analysis package for AWS Elastic Fabric Adaptor (EFA), a product that is now used in major high-performance computing (HPC) and machine learning (ML) workflows on AWS. + Proficiency in building production-level code and working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of technical product owners in cloud computing.
Generation is a leading sustainable investment management firm co-founded by former US Vice President Al Gore and former Goldman Sachs' Asset Management head David Blood. In summer 2019, I returned to Generation to work as an Intern in the Sustainable Solutions Fund III (c.$1bn), investing in $50-150m growth stage companies. + Presented an investment roadmap on "Fintech in Latin America" to multiple partners, directors and portfolio managers at the firm. + Helped analysts collect, analyse and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research data using my knowledge of programming, data science (e.g. using Python). + Expanded my professional network by speaking with CEOs and co-investors on a daily basis.
