About

I’m an editor, business journalist and content writer with 30 years’ experience. I've worked for some of the UK's leading content and marketing agencies on behalf of many of the world's most successful brands. For 20 years I’ve specialised in creating content for organisations and brands that want to help SME owners and managers to run their businesses more effectively. I've produced SME content for a wide range of heavyweights in the public and private sectors, including the government, high-street banks, insurance companies, utility providers, software and fintech businesses, accountancy firms and small-business membership organisations. In my 30-year career, I've also written about football, aviation, cars, music, food, property, tourism and travel. As well as various customer magazines and websites, my writing has featured in national newspapers, Sunday supplements and newsstand magazines. For more than four years, I wrote small-business content for The Guardian. I’ve also written for the Mail On Sunday (Live Magazine), Haymarket Network, John Brown, Atom Content Marketing, Seven Publishing, Think Publishing, Caspian Publishing, Mediacom, Beyond Media, KPMG, the British Standards Institution, Intuit/QuickBooks, the AAT, iProspect®, TVC (Economist Group), OVO Energy, Unique Digital, ETOA and the NHS.
