  • Chief Scientific Officer at RMIG LLC | Colorado Seed Inc.
    Jan 2018 - Jun 2019 · 1 yr 6 mos

During the majority of my 3+ years at RMIG LLC, I was Head of the Tissue Culture program and Head of growing with 14 room climate controlled indoor breeding facility. This job involved setting up an entire lab, creating all protocols for cannabis tissue culture, laying out the grow facility, training staff, developing a nutrient and IPM program from scratch, and started a long term professional breeding program using full-sib crosses. The breeding program is now aided by Sanger Sequencing and PCR Analysis mostly, using loop-mediated isothermal amplification, Tissue Culture, and NIR cannabinoid testing along with selective pollination using pollen bags.
