He has substantial experience operating internationally, making films across Europe, America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Mark is HEFAT certified and able to work in the UK, US & Australia. Mark has an academic background in Philosophy and Sociology, with a Master's degree in Gender, Media & Communication from Goldsmiths, University of London.

Faced with an unexpected snap election I was brought in to launch The Takeaway, a brand new political interview series targeted at 18-25 year olds. I quickly developed a style guide, a filming approach and booked locations. Within days we were cutting our first interview, making six films on the major parties in as many weeks, and building a strong following.

Self shooting producer-director at ITV News Longform team, primarily responsible for the monthly foreign affairs programme On Assignment. Winning an One World Media Award for the Enyobeni Tavern Tragedy film, and nominated for an AIB award for a film about a new Alzheimer's home in France. I consistently pitched, developed, produceed, shot, directed, scripted and edit produced films on a fast turnaround basis, making over 30 films in under 2 years. Worked throughout without a researcher or AP, covering the gamut of production. Despite the rapid turnover, I produced captivating films, highlights of which included bank robberies in Lebanon, corruption in South Africa, and 'green colonialism' vs indigenous reindeer herders in the Arctic Circle. Throughout this, I directed leading correspondents such as Rageh Omaar, Robert Peston and Julie Etchingham. With films in Taiwan, Israel, Palestine, Finland, Kenya, Lebanon, Bulgaria, Greece, Poland, Sweden, South Africa, North Africa the Arctic Circle, Mexico and Spain.
