I have been working in the IT business since 1986. During those years my main activities have been database design, functional design and the engineering of software in a wide variety of projects using the technology of Progress Software (OpenEdge). I have developed and maintained multiple successful applications on my own for customers but really enjoy working in teams and getting the job done together, be it as project leader or as team member. Since 2012 I am working for my company Q delta, using my expertise in projects for several own customers and in projects where I am hired as software engineer.

It was a pleasure working for Insolvit, supporting trustees in all kinds of IT related topics. Despite successful projects and great interaction with colleagues and customers, the owners as well as myself concluded that this role wouldn't fit me long term. So I am switching back to software design and software engineering, wishing all at Insolvit the best going forward.
As co-founder and co-owner of FORTIUS Internet solutions my main role was being a Progress OpenEdge consultant and project leader, designing, developing and implementing tailor made applications for our customers. For the daily operations and growth of the company I also performed many additional tasks over the course of 17 years. Responsibilities included setting up and maintaining administration and the design and implementation of a custom made structure for HRM for our employees. But also many tasks for installing and maintaining the hardware and software used by the company. The latter included starting up and running a separate hosting company to facilitate the web applications of our customers.
