Ocean Harvest Technology Limited is the technology and manufacturing company responsible for the OceanFeed™ portfolio of blended seaweed feed ingredients. These sustainably produced feed ingredients offer many benefits for production and companion animals, helping them to perform better in a natural way and reducing the need for antibiotics and other synthetic feed ingredients. Hired in January 2022 to lead the company in its next stage of growth. Focussing on new customer development, diversifying and expanding the supply chain, delivering more commercial benefits from R&D and raising the additional funds required to fund growth. During my three years the company doubled product revenue, expanded gross margin from 30% to 40%, tripled the global supply chain, implemented controls and enhanced financial reporting and new financial reporting systems. I led a pre-IPO round and the Company's successful £6m IPO on AIM during challenging market conditions.
Chief Financial Officer of Agriprotein/ Insect Technology Group Hired to lead fund raising and to establish and lead the finance and other corporate functions to support the fast growth of this developing company. One of the four-member Executive team responsible to the Board for the business (together with CEO, COO and Strategy Director). Led the negotiation of acquisitions and joint venture agreements for new business ventures with three different partners in the US, Europe and Asia.
