Aquatic ecologist | freshwater ecology & fisheries science

County Dublin, Ireland

About

I’m a freshwater ecologist with a background in applied environmental science, having recently finished my MSc at UCD. My main interests lie in fisheries science, particularly salmonid stock management. I’ve worked with Inland Fisheries Ireland and the Marine Institute on fish stock (salmonids) monitoring and have experience in electrofishing, benthic surveys, fyke net surveys and river habitat assessments. I’m comfortable and capable working in remote field settings and have spent time doing fisheries work both in Ireland and abroad, including backcountry guiding in Alaska and Atlantic salmon smolt tagging & tracking in Scotland.
