BoomTown is the leading sales and marketing software platform for real estate professionals that helps them run their businesses better via world-class lead generation, consumer websites, CRM technology and powerful mobile apps As Chief Technology Officer, I am the executive leader responsible for a department of approximately 105 on-shore and off-shore employees and contractors covering all engineering, engineering operations and data science related functions for of the front and back office suite of software as a service products serving the top residential real estate teams in North America. Formerly served as SVP, Engineering with BoomTown prior to becoming CTO.
Bullhorn is one of the software industry's fastest growing Cloud/SAAS companies provides cloud-based CRM solutions for relationship-driven businesses including Applicant Tracking Systems for the enterprise staffing and recruiting industry. As SVP, Engineering, was responsible for strategic, budgetary and technical oversight of entire engineering team. Reporting structure included approximately 120 personnel consisting of software, system and QA engineers, system and database administrators, team leads, managers and directors performing product development and enhancement projects as well as general system maintenance in a Scaled Agile environment. Additional responsibilities included long term staffing, product road map and architectural direction. General Manager responsibilities included overall leadership, vision and day to day operations of the Bullhorn Central location. Previously VP as well as Senior Director, Software Development.
As Director of Application Development, managed a team of approximately 17 software and QA engineers in performing product development and/or enhancement projects as well as general system maintenance using both Java and .Net technologies. Primary product lines of responsibility include Loan Review Solutions, Predictive Analytics and Verifications Systems. Formerly Manager of Applications Development. Prior to that as a Senior Application Developer, designed, implemented and unit tested improvements to mortgage fraud risk scoring algorithm, web based user interface, and direct interface system for integration with client LOS systems using C# .Net, Visual Basic, ASP, and T-SQL technologies as done while contracted to Interthinx. Additionally used above technologies to create new infrastructure components for core products and convert legacy code, systems, and methodologies to the current technology standards.
Worked on-site for Interthinx, a division of ISO/Verisk Analytics, during entire contract. Designed, implemented and unit tested improvements to mortgage fraud risk scoring algorithm, web based user interface, and direct interface system for integration with client LOS systems using C# .Net, Visual Basic, ASP, and T-SQL technologies. Additionally trained, tasked and supervised development by a small team of developers on maintenance and augmentation of Interthinx products. Accomplishments include making scoring algorithm customizable to client specific needs without needing further source code changes and assistance in retention of several large clients by design and implementation of enhancements specific to their needs, but able to be marketed to other clients.
