    Overall responsibility for site maintenance and day to day operation of both the airport, facilities and control of all labour. Managing a team of 14 direct staff working from 6am to 10pm covering the operational hours of the airport on split shifts with 12 hour weekend working. There is also the element of sub contractor control where we have 32 contracted and an additional 15 frequently used due to the specialist nature of the site. The role involves all that has been done in my previous role, inclusive of EHS duties and the addition of overall responsibility for budget control, profit and loss. Due to the rapid expansion of the airport and previous underinvestment the main task has been the restructuring of the maintenance regime and in effect, remobilising the contract to maximize the effectiveness of the team.
