Through its network of trade commissioners in more than 160 cities worldwide, the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) provides Canadian organizations with on-the-ground intelligence and practical advice on foreign markets that help them tackle concrete problems, grow into international markets and access new opportunities. Our business contacts include potential customers, distributors, sources of finance or investment, technology partners and intermediaries. The TCS also provides Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) services for firms serious about expanding their physical presence in Canada. As a Trade Commissioner at the Consulate General of Canada in Sydney, my role is to assist Canadian clients pursue economic opportunities in Australia within the infrastructure and transportation sectors.
