As the Healthcare and Higher Education Studio Manager I’m responsible for leading several projects from the initial pursuits to the construction management. One of my roles is to be a Project manager on an individual project where I lead the design team from conceptual design to completion. I lead the team to help coordinate all our design consultants to ensure the client’s objectives are met. Following the planning and design stages, I work closely with the contractor to ensure they meet the design concepts and specifications and to guide design corrections when required. My portfolio includes work in higher education and healthcare – two industries about which I’m most passionate. Projects include: Kansas State University Foundation | Headquarters Manhattan, KS | 60,000 sq. ft. By using the existing foundations and primary steel we provided the KSU Foundation with a modern and welcoming Headquarters while being mindful of the budget. VA Montgomery Outpatient Clinic Montgomery, AL | 150,000 sq. ft. VA Mobile Outpatient Clinic Mobile, AL | 88,000 sq. ft. Worked collaboratively to win multiple design build competition to provide modern VA Outpatient Clinic to serve our Veterans. KSU Office Park | Phase II Manhattan, KS | 60,000 sq. ft. Provided a complementary office building to the KSU Foundation Headquarters that is flexible to accommodate different sized tenants. Kansas State University | Commercial Master Plan Manhattan, KS | 112 Acre Master Plan Kansas State University | Hale Library Dave & Ellie Everitt Learning Common Manhattan, Kan. | 41,000 sq. ft. Renovation of the Hale Library first floor to provide the Kansas State students an active and collaborative study environment.
