I am an international Executive leader and Chartered Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the electricity industry from leadership roles based in UK, Sweden, Germany and Denmark. Since 2009, my leadership focus has been creating value though excellence in Operations, Technology and Business Development leadership roles in the renewable energy sector.
I am currently CEO of Diamond Transmission UK Limited (DTUK) a leading offshore wind transmission owner (OFTO) and asset manager currently focused on the UK’s offshore sector. DTUK acquires and manages the transmission assets that connect offshore wind farms to the onshore grid and currently has a portfolio of 10 OFTO’s with a capacity of 5.7GW. The business combines disciplined bidding in OFTO Tender Rounds within Ofgem’s competitive regime, with lifetime operational management. DTUK is owned by Global Infrastructure Partners, a part of BlackRock. DTUK plays a key role in supporting the UK’s energy transition enabling the safe, low cost, reliable integration of offshore wind generation into the UK energy system.
I am an advisor to the Board of Stillstrom, a Maersk business with a mission to cut vessel‑related greenhouse gas emissions by enabling offshore charging for battery- and hybrid‑electric vessels and reliable power supply for conventional vessels while at sea.
