From October 2021 - January 2023 Fit/Welded parts following WPS/SOP, welded pipes and man ways using FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, SMAW with all the different processes including stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminum alloys. Have over 29 certifications. From January 2023 until May 2024 performed robotic welding/maintain logs for all new programs. Inspect all welds for defects. Perform and log all maintenance on robot. Log all consumable usage of robot. Build jigs and fixtures. Work to increase amount of arc time over previous year. Blowout/clean robot weekly. Create visual work instructions for all new programs. Work with maintenance department to build fixtures and to better utilize the robots turn table. Perform manual welding on parts robot is unable to weld. Communicate with Hire Botics support staff. Insure robot weld settings are within the WPS.
Order equipment for Welding Department, observe spot welders and inspect for mistakes, make sure employees are running correct WPS for each job, keep production on schedule, hand out assignments and welding
Conduct demonstrations for class, answer student questions, set up machines, organizing stock, keeping inventory.
Running PPAPS (new jobs) communication with engineers and estimators when times are off and prints incorrect. Working with Quality Control to make good parts on time and safely. Helped create visual work instructions for non-English speaking employees. Use processes GMAW, GMAWP and GTAW.
Handed out assignments, kept employees on task, ensured employees used correct WPS for job and welded.
