I am an actor, teacher, director, coach, and workshop administrator. I hold a M.F.A in Acting from Southern Methodist University, a B.S. in General Theatre from Towson University, and I also spent a year training in devised theatre at Dartington College of Arts (now a part of Falmouth University), as well as throughout Poland in various projects and workshops. I am a member of Actor’s Equity Association with significant professional acting experience at various renowned and award winning theatres. I've also performed in numerous commercials, industrial films, and a brief stint on the TV series HOUSE OF CARDS. In my career I have been exposed to many different performance methods, including American realism, Shakespearean, and other text-based classical forms, & many different experimental forms. I have used this knowledge to teach a wide range of classes and workshops, coach scenes and monologues of many students and colleagues, assist in adjudicating auditions for incoming students to institutions, and advise many students in finding their way through academic and professional careers. I am skilled at leading introductory and advanced scene study courses. This is because the core of my acting and teaching work is based in developing the ability to interpret the script in such a way that allows the actor to find his or her own way through rehearsals (from the ground-up), to create a specific physical life for the character, and, chiefly, to freely respond to other actors in the moment. As Theatre Specialist for the SHAPE Performing Arts Center, I lead all aspects of theatrical and special events programming for a uniquely international community on the NATO base in Mons, Belgium. My role combines artistic direction, community engagement, and administrative leadership within a U.S. Army civilian framework, serving U.S. and NATO military families. I oversee the planning, development, and execution of productions, events, and educational programming for adults and youth. This includes: - Directing and producing plays, musicals, and special performances - Conducting needs assessments and audience engagement strategies - Designing and implementing operational procedures and production timelines - Supervising technical, creative, and support staff - Managing budgets, resources, and scheduling - Coordinating with DFMWR and USAG Benelux leadership to ensure programming aligns with morale and welfare goals The role demands flexibility, cross-cultural communication, and deep knowledge of theatrical production—including direction, design, performance techniques, and education. I work closely with an international civilian and military population, creating accessible, high-quality theatre in a setting where the arts serve as both entertainment and community-building across borders.

Conceived and executed a transdisciplinary performance exploring self-discovery and loss titled “by night with grass &trees”. The project combined live elements, video projection, and spoken word to create a dynamic visual and sonic landscape. Premiered at Barking Legs Theater as part of the Verified Incubator Performances, contributing to the theater's 30th-anniversary celebration in November 2023.
