Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is a water based chemical used to reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) emitted into the air by diesel engines. DEF is a vital component of Brenntag’s commitment to sustainability and Brenntag’s "driving toward a greener tomorrow” obligation. Brenntag operates more than 140 locations and 30 Diesel Exhaust Fluid rail terminals throughout North America, which distribute jugs, drums, totes, mini-bulk and full truck loads of DEF.
