A change in IPD's strategy for the T&M business has provided an opportunity for me to pursue employment as a consultant / contractor in the Test & Measurement and similar high technology industry segments. My focus is to add value to the business results of companies utilising my extensive experience and success in sales, marketing and portfolio management.
Following the appointment of Rapid-Tech as the nationwide distributor for Keysight Technologies I am pleased to continue my engagement in the Test & Measurement industry with Rapid-Tech and LEDA Electronics. I look forward to supporting customers I have come to know and respect for many years as well as new customers involved in the latest exciting technologies.
A six month contract with Keysight Technologies to assist with the transition from IPD to a new channel partner with a strong focus and resources to successfully address the strong opportunities available through the world-class portfolio of Keysight Technologies.
Following the successful acquisition of TRIO Test & Measurement by IPD Group Limited, I have transferred to the new company as GM for the T&M business unit responsible for day to day operations and exceeding sales, profit and growth objectives. IPD is a privately owned Australian company with a national footprint servicing the electrical industry, supplying quality global brands into the Australian market for over 60 years. IPD employs over 160 professional people in areas such as engineering, logistics and an extensive technical sales network of more than 70 employees nationally, backed by a national customer service centre. Earlier acquisitions by IPD include P.J white, a lamp sourcing business, Hivotech, a supplier & manufacturer of LV & HV test equipment for rail and utility asset maintenance, Central Test, a NATA Accredited High Voltage testing and calibration business and most recently the HV Test Lab of Zinfra. Key customers include Switchboard manufacturers, OEMs, wholesalers, contractors & utilities. IPD provides TRIO T&M with a highly professional business environment with extensive marketing resources, sales channels, ERP systems, logistics support and office locations in all major Australian cities enabling us to take the next big step towards becoming #1 in Test & Measurement - within budget, without compromise.
