Providing mass spectrometry expertise to a multidisciplinary analytical team to contribute to the characterisation and analysis of therapeutic biologics: mAbs, non-mAb biologics, conjugate vaccines, nitrosamines, oligonucleotides/mRNA and lipid.
Working in a multidisciplinary analytical team to contribute to the characterisation and analysis of therapeutic glycoproteins and conjugate vaccines. Providing analytical characterisation, new method and technology development, and technical support to several functional groups including: Protein and Vaccine process, Development and Pilot scale manufacturing operations, Commercial manufacturing, and the Quality/ Regulatory units. • Participate in cross-functional teams in support of late-stage development and commercial products. • Evaluate, develop and qualify analytical technology platforms to support method improvements for use in analytical development and QC laboratories. • Analytical support to process development in bench and pilot scale production of proteins and vaccines
Post-doctoral researcher on the Waters collaboration to develop a UPLC derived glycan library (Glycobase). Glycobase 3.2 is a novel UPLC resource that contains elution positions (expressed as glucose unit values) for more than 350 2AB-labeled N-linked glycan structures determined by a combination of UPLC, exoglycosidase sequencing and mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS, ESI-MS, ESI-MS/MS, LC-MS, LC-ESI-MS/MS). Developed to help design, optimization of bioprocesses for the safe and economic manufacture of biopharmaceuticals.
