• Carry out functional testing and validation on all components of all FDA regulated IVD quadrupole mass spectrometers manufactured in Wexford. • Carry out quarterly preventative maintenance on HPLC 515 pumps, MS Instrument Test Rigs (SQD, TQD, Xevo TQMS and Xevo TQ-S. • Test and validate all Electrical and Electronic systems associated with the instruments including RF setup of Quadrupoles. • Initiated energy saving project using VBscript to logon to Linux VX work operating system to shut off equipment when not in use. • Perform chemical preparation and testing of various solutions used in verifying qualitative and quantitative specifications on mass spectrometers. • Carry out work methods as per site SOP’s and GMP • Maintain documentation within our area in order to be compliant under FDA regulations.
• Installing/commissioning and qualification of EUV semiconductor R&D equipment, for customers such as IBM, Intel and TSMC. Analytical trouble shooting for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Installation qualification (IQ), operational qualification (OQ), and performance qualification (PQ). Co-ordinating and organising from mechanical, electrical all the way to final qualification and validation for customer hand-over (SAT). • Install and commission switchgear and power electronics to control 2MW laser system. • Commission and maintain IBM blade servers with a Linux Centos OS, and protected by Tripp-Lite UPS system using rectifiers to power batteries. • Integrating and validating Cofley BMS using Siemens controls for Gas detection (Oxygen & Hydrogen). • Project lead for coaching and mentoring junior install engineers while on install and also providing after care support to train local FSE’s on site for tasks such as daily equipment operation and regular PM’s • Edit, test and qualification of PLC’s for automation on laser and vacuum systems with Siemens Step7 and Simatic manager, also testing safety of PLC’s. Edit and validate HMI’s & SCADA systems. • Always adhering to regulations during validation process of equipment for both safety and quality of CO2 laser plasma system, using, implementing and updating procedures. • Preparing daily reports and liaising with customers and management for progress on project install work
• Develop energy saving measures for buildings, lighting BMS and control processes • Energy auditing of commercial and industrial buildings, measure and decide meter install for electrical energy on mains distribution • Locate and install electrical meters all the way from in-coming electrical panels analyze usage of systems such as HVAC, Lighting and heaters from such Industrial complexes to commercial businesses. • Energy Usage and cost/budget Analysis - Provide analysis on building energy utilities including electricity, gas, water, waste, CO2. • Technical Assistance - Assist and support Business Development and Project Manage in the technical aspects of energy programs and policy development. • Advising clients on energy use and conservation in a range of construction, aiming to minimise the environmental impact and reduce the carbon footprint. • Overseeing and supervising the installation of building systems and specifying maintenance and operating procedures. • Installing and Commissioning and qualifying lighting systems.
