Jan’21 – Jun’21: Data Centre - Phase 1, at Dubai South, AED 66.6m (GMP) o MEPF Subcontract works for an internationally renowned Client (Concurrent Project with KIZAD Abu Dhabi). Mark is solely responsible mostly for all commercial tasks including cost/margin report, payment applications, pricing variations, Subcontractors (assessing variations, payment certifications and contract administration).
• Preparing tender document for various MEP Sub-contract packages applying commercial and contract information to align with Company and Project requirement. • Prequalifying potential Sub-contractor, attending negotiation meeting, evaluation of tender returns particularly commercial and contractual aspects, and preparing tender report and recommendation for Commercial Manager’s review. • Subcontract administration including valuation of interim payment application, assessing variation, preparing instruction to Sub-contractors and replying correspondences as required. • Administering in-house cost control with regards to Material Requisitions by challenging every quantities and the related substantiation meticulously. • Valuation and submission of Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) and Variations to Client, including meetings, workshops, and site survey as required. • Valuation of final account and preparing closeout documentation to Sub-contractors, including conciliation meetings and site survey as required to reach an agreement. Accomplished Projects: • Expo 2020 Parcels E, F, G & H. Traditional Build contract for multiple buildings and infrastructure within the Expo 2020 development including Hotel, “Leadership”, “Hammerhead Tunnel” and “Metro Plaza”. • Khazna Data Centre POD 456 / August 2018 – July 2019. Design and Build contract for 18+ Megawatts (of IT load) Data Center in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. • Aloft Hotel / December 2016 – August 2018. Design and Build contract for a 4-star high rise hotel situated in a challenging location adjacent to a renowned mall - Diera City Center • Meraas Outlet Village / June 2015 - December 2016. Traditional Build contract for a luxurious shopping mall situated in Dubai Parks and Resort, the mall is inspired by old villages in San Gimignano, Italy.
Involved in Projects Namely: 1. Iraq - Basrah WTP EPC Contract Package 2 , 3 & 4 ( USD 850M ) 2. Al Amerat STP Design & Build Project- Consisting of Sewage Treatment Plant, Pumping Stations, Tanker Facilities , Reservoir and massive piping network. ( USD 85M) 3. Al Dhakira STP Rehabilitation - Ashgal (Qatar) 4. Burj Khalifa STP, Design, Build and Operate 5. Environmental Agency Abu Dhabi Solar Powered RO Plant 6. New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) – Industrial WWTP (Ras Al Khaima) • Thorough evaluation of tender instruction / specification and the succeeding tender addenda. • Preparing technical and commercial risk assessment corresponding to tender instruction / specification. • Analysis of rates for Labour, Material and Plant (fixed and variable cost) to establish updated realistic build-up cost. • Detailed evaluation of quotations / tender returns contracts proposals and provide recommendation report to Procurement and QS Manager. • Ensuring the timely submission and renewal of all contractual deliverables.
(An EPC and O&M Company for electro-chlorination water treatment system for swimming pools and industrial applications) Accomplished Projects Namely: • Wild Wadi Water Park, Wafi City, Metropolitan Beach Hotel, Emirates Towers, Sheikh Mana Bin Khalifa Al Maktoum Palace, Dubai Country Club, Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Hotel, Coral Beach Hotel Sharjah, Grand Hyatt Dubai, JW Marriott Hotel, Madinat Jumeirah, Radisson SAS DMC, Radisson SAS Sharjah, Le Royal Meridien Resort, Shangri-la – Dubai, Shangri-la – AUH, and Barr Al Jissah – Oman. • Prepares technical deliverables for the techno-commercial submission to Client. • Strictly administers safety and efficient delivery of the project from installation up to handover. • Controls project costs by carefully assessing project expenditures; administering sub-contractor's P/O conditions. • Coordination with principal supplier's R & D team.
