Continuing on from my previous role - Developing and delivering Training, Support, and Technical Marketing content to suit all of Yamaha's Global regions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet direct customer demand for content. Helping to enhance brand loyalty through advocacy and extension of core business principles.
In this role I support the Global R&D department with technical training, webinars and tutorials - focusing mainly on Pro Audio and UC technologies.
Providing technical advice and training for the vast array of technologies being developed by Kramer. Key areas of specialisation are AVoIP, Control and Collaboration. Alongside this, I do support the entire product suite (circa 3000 products), and I also have to assist with many other areas of the business. Other areas include co-ordinating (and presenting) webinars and online training programs, pre-sales demos, system design, onsite programming/engineering, customer management, and internal IT/AV management.
My role was to manage some of the more unusual challenges that the company faced, and to assist with the organisation and running of events, business development projects, and new technologies. Alongside this I continued many of my previous duties, mostly relating to client account management, service, and systems engineering.
With Feltech my work was officially based around the Design and Commissioning of AV and Multimedia systems. However, the position was a varied role involving many different aspects of their business. They specialised largely in the Corporate and Government Pro-AV market, also branching out into Broadcasting and Live Events. The work was extremely varied, and very rewarding. I got to use a broad area of my skillset, and this allowed me to excel in specific areas.
When I began working shoreside, I started freelancing within the Corporate Events industry, rigging and running Multimedia, Sound and Lighting. As part of this, I formed Fuzzy Logic, which was designed to provide IT support to my employers.
