In this role I find myself working alongside the production line where my responsibilities are to control the flow of parts from the warehouse to the production line and investigating but also preventing part shortages to enable continued production. Working in this role has given me many key skills and attributes such as excellent time management which is shown when I consistently exceed monthly targets and also oragnisation skills while controlling the flow of parts without interruption. I have also picked up IT skills such as using multiple spreadsheets for recording data and reporting any potential shortages.
As a Production Line feeder my role was to deliver the correct parts while working to a schudele and ensuring that the production line would keep running smoothly without any parts shortages.
Picking parts in first in first out order from the production schedule generated list. Topping up racks of parts in FIFO order. Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy.
