- Aided in day-to-day general maintenance of the engine room and ship. - Oversaw the watch group, controlled the engine room taking readings and monitoring the systems. - Aided in starting the ship’s turbo generators, sounding tanks, and additional marine equipment. - Obtained vast knowledge and added responsibility in the engine room and its system.
