• Systems used – Microsoft AX, SO99, Palette, Atlas Excel & Microsoft Excel. • Overseeing the Commercial Forecast on a weekly basis, adjusting import and internal production to satisfy the forecast. • Took full control of a warehouse transfer project, from Gjøvik to Drammen, which involved the move of over 10,000 pallets. This included negotiating with transportation companies, ensuring items were still available for sale in the original warehouse and ensuring the project was finished on time and on target. This was arranged in 3 fazes, each faze covering a month of transfers and managing sales. • On-site consulting at the new warehouse in Drammen to help them arrange their warehouse in an efficient way, for both full pallet and part pallet picking areas, as well as introducing a KPI structure to help them monitor their warehouse and pick efficiency. • Negotiated new contracts with international transport companies for imported items from Europe and USA. • Wrote a new SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for both internal (Norway) and international transport companies. This included extra detail relating to Covid-19 and extra measures to ensure the spread of the pandemic was avoided. • Produced weekly sales level reports which were warehouse and customer specific, for the sales department. • Held weekly meeting with our external warehouse to resolve any issues and to ensure they are meeting tagets that I had put in place. • Approve invoices for all imported items, import charges (for tax purposes) and transport costs. • Continues analysis of sales vs forecast, current stock vs safety stock levels, external warehouse efficiency (including the transfer of EDI reports), monitoring slot times allocation for transport in and out of the warehouses to ensure they have full control and can plan efficiently. • Introduced automated reports to help the finance department with their end-of-month processes.
