Worked on the design and development of some of the key business systems for StrataWare's SaaS platform.
Member of the Systems Group that assisted in the design/development of an Internet application which allows managers to manage onsite and offsite personnel via the Internet. Designed and developed business logic and data access COM components using ATL/MTS/C++ for managing employee change requests. Developed an ISAPI filter in C++ to filter web requests and improved the efficiency of our heavily used client and server components. Designed and developed a web server component to parse SOAP requests, invoke the appropriate component’s function and return the results to caller which allowed our partners to access business components via the Internet.
Designed architecture for our middle-tier CORBA server employing UML for requirements analysis and design using Rational Rose Enterprise application. Implemented middle-tier CORBA server using Visual C++ and Standard C++ library. Designed and developed CORBA objects for our supply chain application and corresponding client COM components using ATL which interfaced with the middle-tier CORBA server’s interfaces.
Lead Software Engineer in the development of a portable Cooperative Mission Planning System for unmanned air vehicle utilizing the Silicon Graphics platform and developed using C++, Motif/X Windows and OpenGL. Successfully ported Mission Planning System to laptop computer running Windows NT using Visual C++, OpenGL and Microsoft Foundation Classes. Successfully demonstrated the Cooperative Mission Planning System to control four unmanned air vehicles at the Naval Weapons Center.
