For over 15 years, I’ve collaborated with leading Italian yarn spinners and knitwear factories, as well as with Spanish, French, Portuguese, Turkish, and Far Eastern manufacturers. Women´s and men´s luxury cashmere clothing and accessories
- Design of Women´s knitwear collection (including special capsules and fashion shows). - Mood boards and creative ideas in accordance with seasonal line plans. - Responsible of creating and updating the color palettes for the whole Massimo Dutti womenwear´s department. - Yarns sourcing and selection to create innovative, commercial and well executed ranges of knitwear. - Develop and launch styles that cover a wide variety of gauges and techniques (new stitches, stripes, jaquards, specials intarsia, interesting cables,..) - Present focused design concepts to Design Director and support him in preparation of all styling meetings. - Fitting, adjustments and corrections on prototypes, from the first sample to production approval. - Close cooperation with product departments (analyze, leverage, and integrate sales and data to inform ongoing and future designs.) - Development trips to suppliers and yarn mills in Europe and Far East. - Visits to fashion fairs and inspirational trips.
- Responsible of the women´s and men´s Knitwear, and women´s circular knit garments. - Trend boards and colors researches, in close cooperation with Tiziana Dominguez. - Knitting techniques development (stitches, stripes, jaquards, intarsia, cabling, prints…) - Yarns and jersey fabrics sourcing and selection. - Tech packs. - Fitting, adjustments and corrections on prototypes, from the first sample to the production approval, daily cooperation with sales and production departments. - Development trips to suppliers in Europe and Far East. - Visits to fashion fairs.
