About

I build real-time 3D in Unreal Engine and on the web, for geospatial, XR, and live production. I work across game engines and browser-based engines like Three.js and Babylon.js, to create experiences to suit any deployment method, which not many developers do. I also have a background in game ready 3D, CAD and understand the pipeline and optimizations required to create an optimize functioning, and good-looking experiences. I can convey these technical requirements to an art team and find an optimized solution for the specific case. I've worked across digital twins, 3D GIS, Archviz and property commercialization. Right now I'm focused on geospatial, working with large-scale aerial photogrammetry datasets. Things like streaming, level-of-detail, and real-world accuracy matter and also connecting data to enrich the experience. On the other side I also create experiences for events, activations and installations, these range from live broadcast AR overlays to realtime markerless body tracking activations at expo’s. I have experience with video solutions (LED and projection, media servers) as well as DMX and show lighting technologies. The same stack means I can take 3D data out of the browser and into physical space too, like walk-in digital twins or installation-scale geospatial work. Not many people sit at this intersection. I work as both a developer and creative technologist — extending what’s already developed and combining it in ways that are novel and create value. I research the problem, prototype until it feels real and turn it into a workflow the team can reuse, I have a passion for learning new skills and connecting different domains. Stack: Unreal Engine, Unity, Three.js, Babylon.js, Cesium, Svelte, Lit, Gaussian splatting plus Python, Blueprint, C++ and shell scripting for glue work.
